Sunday Meeting

What an amazing day in church yesterday! Our worship time was so beautiful and exuberant I thought we might just move right from our seats into eternity! My husband and I have talked for years about the whys? and why nots? of corporate worship....why some Sundays seem absolutely full as God's people pour out their praise and desire for God and other times seem not as full. Our awareness of our own spiritual need for God is perhaps more keen than other days, which creates a deep well of longing for God to come and fill with Himself. But that almost seems like there's something WE can do to make worship more wonderful, and only God can do that. But, since the Holy Spirit is the one to move our hearts to see our great need of God, He really is the author of such wonders. There is a correlation between our soul's "panting" after God and the depth to which we may experience His presence. Well, anyway, I for one was in tears most of the first hour! God has been so good, so kind, and so generous to this sinner. So much I could say, but time to get School started!

Glad to see you blogging. Mine, in truth, is a scrapbook, but I appreciate knowing what is going on in your heart. See, with a scrapbook blog you rarely put those moments you wish NOT to remember (OK, I put a few of Avaya's temper tantrums on for laughs!!), but I always think I should put "the other part of the story" or create another blog called "The rest of the story!!" I'm impressed so far with the depth you share, and since I only see you in a very quick passing, and miss you guys dearly since our CG's parted ways, I am very happy to read and be kept up to date.
Happy Blogging!!
