Moving, but still found by God

Wow! Over 5 months since my last post... Possibly a new record for me. Life has been on fast forward the last few months. And today I'm hoping to start recording again some of the happenings of the Bunting clan.

First of all, we've sold our home here in Lancaster and are living with dear friends for the next 5 weeks. On Aug. 13, we will head down to Gaithersburg, MD to settle in for a 10 month stay while Keith attends Sovereign Grace's Pastor's College, or "the PC" as we affectionately call it. Upon graduation from the PC, Lord willing, our family will be moving to Nassau, Bahamas. There Keith will come alongside Cedric Moss, the pastor of Kingdom Life Church, as an assistant pastor.l I'm not sure if they'll call him "Pastor" right away, or if there's an internship period. But regardless, big changes are in the works for us! First moving out of state, then out of country...well, this is life in fast forward. Perhaps I've been so inundated with information over the last year or so, I've been unsure as to how to blog. But someone recently asked me if we'd be keeping a blog while we're on our journeys...and I realized it might be helpful to start blogging here again.

The last month, I've been memorizing Psalm 37. This is a 40 verse Psalm, and one that an old 38 year old mom has to stretch to retain in her ever failing memory. But God has given me help in the task, and I'm reaping the benefits of hiding God's word in my heart. I love to hear the words of this Psalm echoing in my heart and mind in the midst of tempting situations. Through the sale of our home, I've had to trust God to prove out the words "Better is the little that the righteous has than the abundance of many wicked" or "The steps of a man are established by the Lord when he delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be cast headlong, for the Lord upholds his hand." The Lord has definitely held our hand through this process. And he has kept us upright, rather than sinking in a waning real estate market.

Well, that's it for today...off to life as usual. We'll do our best to keep up the info. here. Blessings!

So glad to see you are back to writing! Not only are your words encouraging and wise, but they will help us to stay close in heart to you and your family. :)
